Sometimes, it’s impossible to get to the library and work on your resume. We use Resume Writing and Cover Letter writing software to help people work on their resumes, without any need for resume expertise. We can also look over your resume and let you know what parts work and what doesn’t. Make sure to avoid using these 10 Words from your resume! A Linkedin Survey determined the 10 most overused words on a person’s profile and determined that they have been overused, and therefore should be removed. Think about it. Rather than list these words, explain to an employers why you’re motivated, have extensive experience, a track record, etc. The words, on their own, are empty unless you have the information specifically placed on your resume. Or, make sure to elaborate on your cover letter why you believe you are creative, or motivated. With these tips in mind, make sure to periodically review your resume, and remove or update any information that you think would make employers scratch their heads or assume any information about you.

But if the manager fails to recognize the significance of your international experience — perhaps because he doesn’t realize the responsibility associated with the job title, or the size and status of the company — you might lose out on an opportunity to impress. You can’t assume a domestic hiring manager will be familiar with foreign operations, even if the company is well-known abroad. Instead, assume the reader knows nothing about the international firm, and format your resume accordingly.
