Older Americans are increasingly staying in the workforce. From 1977 to 2007, employment of workers aged 65 and older rose 75 percent. Due to the effects of the economic Recession and new technology, Older workers may find it more difficult to find and apply for jobs. For this reason, the Brentwood CDC is taking steps to help older members of our community use quality resources to find and apply for jobs:
Created by the AARP, their Job Hunting page has a wealth of resources directed towards older Americans. Topics include growing fields for Older Americans, Using Social Networking to find a job, Tough Interview Questions and How to Avoid Job Scams.
